Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer and model. Shooting to fame for his role on Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. In addition to his work with Road Trip Qualls has played in over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & others. Qualls is diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a resilient fighter. His cancer went into remission after two years. The treatment started so early that it had a severe influence on the body and slowed his growth. When he began acting, financially secure, it was his main goal, as his experience with poverty had been a part of the course of his youth. I've been living so cheaply since I was a kid that I'm now the financial stability or life seems uncontrollable for me he stated in an interview. He also considers his own childhood to see what he could do to stop the bullying. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. DJ's ideal job is become a father on reels as well as in reality. He admits that Directors do not have him cast in the roles he is suited for. He'd like to become an uncle one day so he can devote more time with his child and not be so occupied with his work.
