Aaliyah Daniel Haughton shot into fame in 1994 when she released the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing but a Numer. Aaliyah Danahaughton was only 15 when the album became Gold. It was done as part of a group that was greatly influenced by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. The album contained the single If You Girls Only Knew the single that was most popular. The second album of Aaliyah, One in a Million came out in the year 1996. It featured the top hit single"If Your Girl Only Knew. In 2000 she appeared in Romeo Must Die, a romance/action movie with Jet-Li. Joel Silver, a film producer at an award show when she got the role was able to spot her. In 2002, she was part of the film vampire Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book.
